GGC Industries delivered over 200 tonnes of perimeter scaffold for the uniquely complex LCC Project, a bird-shaped architectural feat with only two straight walls and a flowing, curved facade.

To navigate the structure’s non-linear geometry, we utilised our 5-board cantilever bracket system, providing safe access past the roofline with extended handrails to support structural steel and roofing installation.

The key highlight was a complex formwork scaffold supporting a 17-tonne suspended slab cantilevered 9m out over water. Our in house design and engineering team masterminded the creation with UB steel beams, showcasing advanced design, engineering, planning and execution from the site team.

Stage 2 extended this cantilever even further over the water, enabling soffit works and full roof access. This project demonstrates GGC’s expertise in delivering innovative, efficient, safe, and tailored access solutions for technically challenging designs.
